Reading: Jeremiah 15-19
“For in my anger a fire is kindled that will burn forever.” (Jeremiah 15:14; 17:4, 27)
If you can imagine the expanse of eternity, and add fury, then you can see sin through God’s eyes. Forever is a long time. Three times Jeremiah tells the people that God’s anger won’t stop burning. These chapters show a glimpse of the damaging effects of sin.
I’ll take the alternative. I want to repent from my sin,serve God today and trust in His promises for forever pleasures.
